RECIPE: Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce

This post is for my EASY and QUICK Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce. As may already know, I like to make my own seasonings and sauces. It saves me money from buying expensive jar sauces that are loaded with sugar, salt and preservatives. I typically make just enough sauce to serve with the meal at hand and so the ingredients stay super fresh. For this particular sauce is one of my old "goto recipes" that I use with my Easy Salmon Croquettes. (*Be sure to check out the recipe!)

Ingredients:
1 small aluminum bowl; 1 small whisk
2 tablespoons of Dijon or spicy mustard (I use Dijon mustard or a store brand spicy mustard)
1/2 teaspoon of honey (You a little more if you want this a bit sweeter.)
1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil

For spices:
dash of ground black pepper
generous dash of parsley(I use Tone's seasoning.)
generous dash of chives (I use Tone's seasoning.)
dash of red chili pepper flakes (if you like your sauce spicy)

Instructions:
1) Place all ingredients (olive oil, mustard, honey, spices) in the small bowl. Be sure to close the lid as tight as possible.
2) Whisk ingredients vigorously in the bowl.
3) Pour or spoon out into a small sauce container (I use a small Tuperware bowl; When serving I transfer the sauce to a set of dipping bowls.)
