RECIPE: Kale Spinach Mint Smoothie



This article is a healthy recipe for easy to make Kale Spinach Mint Smoothie.This is a very popular recipe that I saw on television and adapted to my style of smoothie making. The flax seeds are heart healthy and the protein powder gives a good mental boost in the mornings.

 

  

Ingredients:
1 cup of fresh kale leaves
1 cup of fresh organic baby spinach
1 cup of pineapple chunks (in water or juice)
1 fresh mint leaves
1 scoop of ground flax seeds
1 scoop of soy protein powder


Seasonings:
none

Instructions:
1) Wash all fresh kale, spinach and mint leaves in room temperature water.
2) Load the kale, spinach, mint leaves into Nutribullet blender.
3) Load the pineapple, ground flax seeds, soy protein powder into Nutribullet blender.
4) Fill the Nutribullet blender with chilled filtered water to the "max line".
5) Blend for 5 minutes.

How to serve: Drink from the Nutribullet container or serve in a glass. This smoothie can be saved in the refrigerator. I like to have a little in the morning and then the rest for an afternoon snack. I do not like to save the smoothies for more than a day.
