RECIPE: Roasted Sliced Carrots



This article is a healthy recipe for easy to make roasted sliced carrots. I like organic baby carrots and keep these as a staple in my refrigerator. For me, the carrots are a starch and so I get a little carb intake from this recipe.

 

 

 

 Ingredients


1 bag of fresh, organic carrots
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
4-5 pats of butter
1-tablespoon olive oil
chopped parsley
fresh ginger (grated)


Instructions

1)      Wash, clean carrots, cut into small slices.
2)      Place sliced carrots into a baking dish covered in olive oil.
3)      Add 4-5 small pats of butter with brown sugar.
4)    Bake covered for 1 ½ hours in a 375 degrees oven.
